Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Director Operations, Northern South Island, Department of Conservation, authorises the exchange of the conservation area described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule, subject to the granting of a Right of Way easement, upon transfer, over Area A on SO 571164 in favour of the conservation areas shown as Sections 2 and 3 on SO 571164, and further specifies that the land in the later Schedule be held for conservation purposes as a stewardship area.
