Notice of Direction for the Disposition of the Surplus Assets of a Dissolved Incorporated Society

Pursuant to Section 27(1) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 (“Act”)

Take notice that the Registrar of Incorporated Societies (“Registrar”) has, following the dissolution by the Registrar on 7 February 2023 of the above-named Society, directed pursuant to section 27 of the Act that the surplus assets of the Society, being:

• About $1,804,000 retained in Foy & Halse, Barristers & Solicitors trust account on interest bearing deposit (First Tranche)
• About $55,000 retained in Foy & Halse, Barristers & Solicitors trust account on account of final costs for the Society (Second Tranche)

be vested as follows:

1. The First Tranche to Bowls Auckland Incorporated (222253).
2. The Second Tranche be used by Foy & Halse, Barristers & Solicitors to pay final costs for the Society with the balance to Bowls Auckland Incorporated (222253).

This direction shall become final on 30 November 2023. No appeal shall lie unless notice thereof is delivered before that date.
