Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code—Amendment No. 215
The following instruments are separate instruments in the Federal Register of Legislation and are known collectively in the Food Standards Gazette as Amendment No. 215.
The Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand gives notice of the making of this Variation under section 92 of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991. The Variation commences on the date specified in clause 3 of this Variation.

This instrument is the Food Standards (Application A1219 – Alpha-amylase from GM Bacillus licheniformis as a processing aid) Variation.
The Schedule varies a Standard in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
The variation commences on the date of gazettal.

The Schedule varies a Standard in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
The variation commences on the date of gazettal.

7. May only be added to a beverage derived from legumes, cereals, nuts, seeds, or a combination of those ingredients if, after that addition, each of the following compositional limits are met:

During the exclusive use period, a beverage to which phytosterols, phytostanols and/or their esters have been added in accordance with condition 7 above may only be sold under the brand SANITARIUM HEALTH FOOD COMPANY. 9. For the purposes of condition 8 above, exclusive use period means the period commencing on the date of gazettal of the Food Standards (Addition of phytosterols, phytostanols or their esters as novel food to plant-based milk alternatives) Variation and ending 15 months after that date. |
