Pursuant to section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Nadine Patricia Taylor, extend the local transition period over Marlborough District Area owing to the cumulative impacts of the severe weather events during August 2022.

This extension of the transition period:

1. comes into force immediately before 4.30pm on 17 November 2023, which is the time and date when the current transition period expires;
2. is in force for 28 days, and
3. ends at 4.30pm on 15 December 2023 unless terminated or further extended earlier.
