Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Wayne Kelvin Forrest Brown, give notice of a local transition period over the Auckland Region, owing to the severe weather events that have impacted the Auckland region (including the January Floods and Cyclone Gabrielle).

This local transition period:

1. comes into force at 7.57am on 1 June 2023, which is the time and date when this notice is given:
2. is in force for 28 days:
3. ends at 7.57am on 29 June 2023, unless extended or terminated earlier.

The previous local transition period over Auckland region, notice of which was given at 9.52am on 11 May 2023, ceases to have effect.
