Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (“Act”), the Physiotherapy Board (“Board”) gives the following notice amending the qualifications prescribed by the Physiotherapy Board for registration as a physiotherapist in the Scope of Practice: Physiotherapist.

Notice

1. Commencement

This notice shall come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Amendment

This notice amends the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 November 2022, Notice No. 2022-gs4926 by appending the following prescribed qualification for registration in the Scope of Practice – Physiotherapist to the list of prescribed qualifications set out under the heading “A. Scope of Practice – Physiotherapist – Qualifications: Pursuant to section 12(2)(a) of the Act:”

Master of Physiotherapy Practice, Auckland University of Technology; or
