Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Nigel William Bowen, give notice of a local transition period over the Pleasant Point – Temuka Ward within the Timaru District owing to the heavy rain event 18 July 2022 and 20 July 2022.

This transition period:

1. comes into force at 4.30pm on Wednesday 27 July 2022, which is the time and date when—
1. the state of emergency declared at 10.20pm on Wednesday 20 July 2022 for Pleasant Point – Temuka Ward is terminated:
2. is in force for 28 days:
3. ends at 4.30pm on Wednesday 24 August 2022, unless extended or terminated earlier.
