Pursuant to section 71 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Kieran Michael McAnulty, further extend the State of National Emergency declared at 1.17pm on Tuesday 14 February 2023, which I previously extended on Monday 20 February 2023 for the Tararua District owing to the impacts of Cyclone Gabrielle.

The extension comes into force at 1.17pm on Tuesday 28 February 2023 and will expire at 1.17pm on Tuesday 7 March 2023.
