Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Mitchell Des Spence, Senior Solicitor, hereby give notice that:

1. on 26 June 2022, The Honourable Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, and The Honourable Andrew Little, Minister of Health, gave approvals, under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to sections 161 and 162 of that Act for Te Aka Whai Ora (Māori Health Authority) to enter a treasury services agreement to borrow and acquire debt securities from Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand);
2. on 29 January 2023, The Honourable Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, and on 30 January 2023, The Honourable Jan Tinetti, Minister of Internal Affairs, gave joint approvals, under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 162 of that Act for Fire and Emergency New Zealand to borrow money from the Crown (acting by and through the Minister of Finance) for the purpose of covering operating deficits arising from the settlement of a collective employment agreement with the New Zealand Professional Firefighters Union; and
3. on 30 January 2023, The Honourable Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, and on 5 February 2023, The Honourable Michael Wood, Minister of Transport, gave joint approvals, under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 164 of that Act for the New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) to enter into derivatives with the Treasury to manage foreign exchange risk arising out of contracts entered into to procure a national ticketing system.
