Pursuant to section 88(2) of the Substance Addiction (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 2017, I, Dr John Crawshaw, revoke the approval of Dr Andrew Darby as the Director of Area Addiction Services for Lakes District Health Board (New Zealand Gazette, 12 October 2020, Notice No. 2020-go4734).

Further, pursuant to section 88(1) of the Substance Addiction (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 2017, I designate Dr Matira Taikato, Clinical Director Mental Health & Addiction Services, of Rotorua as Director of Area Addiction Services for Te Whatu Ora Lakes. This notice will take effect from 31 October 2023.
