Pursuant to section 8 of the Walking Access Act 2008 and sections 28(1)(a) and 28(4) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I give notice of an amendment to the notices titled:

“Appointment to the New Zealand Walking Access Commission (Notice No. MPI 1724)”; and
“Appointment to the New Zealand Walking Access Commission (Notice No. MPI 1725)”
(together “the Notices”)

published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 September 2023, Notice No. 2023-go4292 and New Zealand Gazette, 12 September 2023, Notice No. 2023-go4293 respectively.

Amendment to 12 September 2023 Notices

The Notices are each amended by omitting the term expiry date of “15 September 2026” for the appointments of Dr. Hugh Francis Malcolm Logan and Darren Lee Rewi. These omissions are substituted with the term expiry of “14 September 2026”.

Explanatory Note

On 12 September 2023 the Notices were published announcing the appointments Dr. Hugh Francis Malcom Logan and Darren Lee Rewi to the board of the New Zealand Walking Access Commission. These notices incorrectly stated the term expiry date of their appointments.

The Notices are therefore being amended to correctly state the term expiry date of their appointment.
