Section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37B(1)(c) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 January 2019, Notice No. 2019-go350, of Queenstown Airport (located at Sir Henry Wigley Drive, Queenstown and operated by Queenstown Airport Corporation Limited CN: 378001), as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Queenstown Airport is able to receive the following craft:

  • Commercial, Chartered or Private Aircraft (≤25 Seats)
  • Commercial, Chartered or Private Aircraft (>25 Seats) (not exceeding 225 persons per aircraft)
  • Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following risk good types:

  • Containers and general cargo
  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Building, 38–42 Bowen Street, Wellington.
