A compensation payment has been made to Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (“Act”).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral.

On 9 June 2023 $5,588.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral, in respect of an offence for which Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Jordan Richard Dyer; Jordan Richard McGral.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.
