Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that on 26 May 2023, the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, pursuant to sections 242(1)(e) and 244 of the Act, that Robert John Burton be suspended from practice as a barrister and solicitor for a period of two calendar months beginning at 5.00pm on 2 June 2023.
