Section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37B(1)(c) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 January 2019, Notice No. 2019-go349 of Wellington Airport (located at Stewart Duff Drive, Wellington and operated by Wellington International Airport Limited CN: 396240) as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Wellington Airport is able to receive the following craft:

  • Commercial, Chartered or Private Aircraft (≤25 Seats)
  • Commercial, Chartered or Private Aircraft (>25 Seats)
  • Freight Aircraft
  • Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following risk good types:

  • Containers and General Cargo
  • Fresh Produce (Bulk) (only that approved under an MPI Approved System)
  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Tower, 34–38 Bowen Street, Wellington.
