Section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37B(1)(c) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 March 2019, Notice No. 2019-go1271, of Vessel Works Marine Precinct (located at Den Place, Sulphur Point, Tauranga and operated by Tauranga City Council, NZBN: 9429041920619, trading as Vessel Works) as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Vessel Works Marine Precinct is able to receive the following craft:

  • Commercial Vessels
  • Commercial Passenger Vessels
  • Private Recreational Vessels
  • Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following risk good types:

  • Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects.

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Tower, 34–38 Bowen Street, Wellington.
