Pursuant to section 295(1)(c) of the Fisheries Act 1996 (“Act”), the Director Fisheries Management, acting under delegation from the Director-General of the Ministry for Primary Industries, gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title

This notice is the Fisheries (Appointment of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited as Place for Receipt of Reports and Returns) Notice 2023.

2. Commencement

This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. Interpretation

In this notice,

1. Reports means all of the kinds of reports and returns referred to in the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2017 (LI 2017/154); and
2. includes all reports and returns that are approved by the Director-General of the Ministry for Primary Industries under section 296(1) of the Fisheries Act 1996 to be transmitted electronically.

4. Place Where Reports and Other Information Must be Provided or Received

The place for the provision or receipt of returns or reports and other information is at the offices of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited (trading as FishServe), Floor 12, 7 Waterloo Quay, Pipitea, Wellington 6011. Postal Address: PO Box 297, Wellington 6140. Website: www.fishserve.co.nz.

5. Revocation

The Fisheries (Appointment of Commercial Fisheries Services Limited as Place for Receipt of Returns) Notice (No. 2) 2014 (Notice No. MPI 367) (New Zealand Gazette, 21 August 2014, No. 96, page 2728) is revoked.
