I hereby give notice that, under section 9I of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance 2003, the Responsible Lending Code (“Code”) was replaced on Thursday 6 April 2023.

The Code will come into force on 4 May 2023. Until this date, the previous version of the Code remains in force, available here: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/21456-responsible-lending-code-june-2022.

The Code is available on the website of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment at: https://www.mbie.govt.nz/dmsdocument/26304-responsible-lending-code-april-2023.
