Section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993

Under section 37(1) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, I vary the approval of Port Nelson, (located at Vickerman Street, Nelson) operated by Port Nelson Limited (Company Number: 401730), as a place of first arrival to receive the following craft and cargo types subject to the limitations specified:

Limitations:

Port Nelson is able to receive the following craft:

• Commercial Vessels
• Commercial Passenger Vessels
• Private Recreational Vessels
• Defence Force Craft

that are able to discharge the following cargo types:

• Container and General Cargo
• Bulk Cargo (Approved systems)
• Bulk Cargo (Non-Approved systems)
• Vehicles and Machinery
• Passengers, Crew and their Personal Effects

A copy of the written notice of approval may be inspected or obtained at the Ministry for Primary Industries, Charles Fergusson Tower, 34–38 Bowen Street, Wellington.
