This document notifies you that:

1. On 18 August 2023, an application for putting EX SCGL LIMITED (in receivership) (formerly known as SMITHS CITY GROUP LIMITED) into liquidation was filed in the High Court at Christchurch. Its reference number is CIV-2023-409-447. The application is to be heard by the High Court at Christchurch on 12 October 2023 at 11.00am.
2. A person, other than the defendant company, who wants to appear at the hearing of the application must file an appearance not later than the second working day before that day.
3. The statement of claim and the verifying affidavit may be inspected at the registry of the court or at the plaintiff’s address for service.
4. The plaintiff is Alastair Gibson Kerr, whose address for service is care of Anthony Harper, Level 9, Anthony Harper Tower, 62 Worcester Boulevard (PO Box 2646), Christchurch. The plaintiff’s solicitor is C. R. Vinnell, whose address is as noted above.
