Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and section 22AB of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and Commencement

This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2023/005 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Amendments

The New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14* is hereby amended by:

• Inserting line 492A in Schedule 3, Part G to read:

“Line No.: 492A
SH No.: 73
Locality: Kirwee
From: NZTM 1536505, 5183393; approximately at the corner of its intersection with Courtenay Road
To: NZTM 1536479, 5183407; approximately 28m west of its intersection with Courtenay Road.
Route Position (Midpoint): 0015/18.688
Direction of travel: Eastbound.
Side of Road: Left
Restriction: No Stopping.
Time period: At all times.”

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw, which comes into force on and from 28 days from date of publication, amends the New Zealand Transport Agency (Traffic Controls on State Highways) Bylaw 2017/14*.
