In accordance with section 220 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, I, Phil Parkes, give notice that I have exempted Elgas Limited from compliance with regulation 15.74(1) of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.

This exemption takes effect on 1 January 2024 and expires on 1 January 2029 unless it is replaced sooner or revoked.

The exemption (HS2208), including the conditions of the exemption and the reasons for granting it, may be viewed at www.worksafe.govt.nz/worksafe/hswa/exemptions-under-hswa.
