In accordance with section 161(2) of the Land Transport Act 1998, the NZ Transport Agency, on behalf of the Associate Minister of Transport, gives notice of the Minister’s intention to make Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices (Bilingual Signs) Amendment 2023 (“draft Rule”), which is now available for public comment.

The draft Rule proposes to amend the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004.

The draft Rule can be viewed via Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s website: https://nzta.govt.nz/about-us/consultations/he-tohu-huarahi-maori-bilingual-traffic-signs-consultation

Any interested person may make a submission on the draft Rule before 5.00pm Friday 30 June 2023.
