Pursuant to section 24A of the Epidemic Preparedness Act 2006, the Chief High Court Judge and Chief District Court Judge have modified the Jury Rules 1990 in relation to all jury trials conducted in the High Court and District Court with effect from 24 January 2022.

This modification was made on 21 December 2021.

The Ministry of Justice is the administering agency.

The modification is published on the Courts of New Zealand website (www.courtsofnz.govt.nz).

The modification is secondary legislation for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2019.
