1. Pursuant to section 360(4) and clause 2(1) of Schedule 1AA of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment gives notice that there has been an amendment to material currently incorporated by reference in the Resource Management (Stock Exclusion) Regulations 2020 (“Regulations”).
2. Regulation 4 of the Regulations refers to “low slope land”. “Low slope land” means land identified as low slope land when the regulations came into force on 3 September 2020. The coverage of land identified as “low slope land” has now been updated.
3. The amendment to the material described in paragraph 2 above takes effect as part of the Regulations from 5 January 2023.

Access to the incorporated material is available free of charge at the Ministry for the Environment, 8 Willis St, Wellington, between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
