I, Carolyn Tremain, Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), give notice under Schedule 2 of the Legislation Act 2019 for the purposes of section 32 of the Fair Pay Agreements Act 2022 (“Act”) that the following material is proposed for incorporation by reference into the proposed Fair Pay Agreements Regulations:

• Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations 2006 (ANZSCO), published by Stats NZ
• Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification 2006 (ANZSIC), published by Stats NZ

These proposed regulations aim to provide greater clarity for defining the coverage of a proposed agreement and a Fair Pay Agreement by using a recognised classification system.
