Notice Relating to Proposed Material Incorporated by Reference in Proposed Hazardous Substance Safe Work Instrument
Pursuant to section 64 of the Legislation Act 2019, I, Phil Parkes, Chief Executive, WorkSafe New Zealand, give notice that it is proposed that the standards listed in the table are incorporated into the proposed safe work instrument listed in the table for the purposes of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
The following table sets out which standards are proposed for incorporation, the proposed safe work instrument in which they are proposed to be incorporated, and the internet site addresses where the standards can be purchased:

These standards are available for inspection, at no charge, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at:
The proposed safe work instrument that proposes to incorporate the standards listed in the Table is undergoing public consultation from Monday 27 June 2022 until Friday 15 July 2022. People can provide comment on the proposed standards for incorporation as part of the public consultation process.
