Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and pursuant to a resolution dated 24 May 2016, the New Plymouth District Council, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, declares that the land described in the Schedule (now vested in the New Plymouth District Council from the New Plymouth City Council under the 1989 Re-Organisation Order in Council – Taranaki Region) as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve and pursuant to section 16(2) is deemed to be classified for that purpose within the meaning of the Act.
