Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and pursuant to a resolution dated 24 May 2016, the New Plymouth District Council, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, declares the land described in the Schedule (now vested in the New Plymouth District Council from the Clifton County Council under the 1989 Re-Organisation Order in Council – Taranaki Region) as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve and pursuant to section 16(2) is deemed to be classified for that purpose within the meaning of the said Act.
