Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and pursuant to a resolution dated 21 July 2020, the New Plymouth District Council acting under a delegation from the Minister of Conservation hereby declares the land described in the Schedule, as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve within the meaning of the Act, and is deemed to be classified for that purpose under section 16(2) of the Act and further pursuant to section 16(10) of the Act is named Tangaroa, to form part of the adjoining Tangaroa local purpose (esplanade) reserve.
