Under the Reserve Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Commissioner, and as Director Operations of the Department of Conservation, Whakatane, revokes the notice titled “Declaring Land to be Reserve”, dated 28 September 1997 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 October 1997, No. 144, page 3338, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Land Vested in Local Authority to be a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977 the Commissioner and as Director Operations of the Department of Conservation, Whakatane, notifies a resolution that was passed by the Opotiki District Council on 26 August 1997 declaring land vested in it to be a local purpose reserve sewage works, as described in the Schedule, and further notifies the gazettal of the resolution to take effect from 28 September 1997, subject to the provisions of the Act.
