I, Jamie William Cleine, give notice of a local transition period over the Buller District owing to the individual and aggregated effects of the severe weather events (flooding and heavy rain) in July 2021 and February 2022.

This transition period—

1. comes into force at 4.15pm on 21 February 2022, which is the time and date when the state of emergency declared at 9.45am on 10 February 2022 for the Buller district terminates:
2. is in force for 28 days:
3. ends at 4.15pm on 21 March 2022, unless extended or terminated earlier.

The previous transition period over the Buller District, notice of which was given at 8.30am on 17 February 2022, ceases to have effect.
