Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Jamie William Cleine, terminate the state of local emergency declared at 9.45am on 10 February 2022 and extended at 8.30am on 17 February 2022 for Buller District owing to risk of flooding, loss of road access, and damage to critical infrastructure.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.
