Pursuant to section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, John Leggett, extend the local transition period over Marlborough District owing to the cumulative severe weather event of August 2022.

This extension of the transition period:

1. comes into force at 4.30pm on 23 September 2022, which is the time and date when the current transition period expires;
2. is in force for 28 days; and
3. ends at 4.30pm on 21 October 2022 unless extended or terminated earlier.
