1. Pursuant to section 24 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014, the Minister for Veterans gives notice of the amendment of forty-three Statements of Principles under the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.

2. The amendments take effect on the date of the publication of this notice.

3. Six amendments are:

allergic contact dermatitis (88/2022 and 89/2022, to be read as compiled with 1/2021 and 2/2021)

conjunctivitis (90/2022 and 91/2022, to be read as compiled with 76/2020 and 77/2020)

asthma (92/2022 and 93/2022, to be read as compiled with 31/2021 and 32/2021).

4. Thirty-seven amendments are to take effect by way of compilation of 94/2022 with the Statements of Principles listed below:

ankylosing spondylitis (39/2021 and 40/2021)

anosmia (19/2021 and 20/2021)

aortic aneurysm and aortic wall disorders (21/2021 and 22/2021)

asthma (31/2021 and 32/2021)

carotid artery disease (54/2020 and 55/2020)

chronic pancreatitis (64/2020 and 65/2020)

deep vein thrombosis (35/2021 and 36/2021)

diabetes mellitus (48/2020 and 49/2020)

giant cell arteritis (11/2021 and 12/2021)

inflammatory bowel disease (90/2020 and 91/2020)

malignant neoplasm of the cervix (80/2020 and 81/2020)

malignant neoplasm of the kidney (41/2021 and 42/2021)

non-aneurysmal aortic atherosclerotic disease (52/2020 and 53/2020)

peripheral artery disease (70/2020 and 71/2020)

psoriasis (13/2021 and 14/2021)

pulmonary thromboembolism (37/2021 and 38/2021)

renal artery atherosclerotic disease (56/2020 and 57/2020)

retinal vascular occlusion (50/2020 and 51/2020)

tinnitus (84/2020, Reasonable hypothesis version only).

5. These amended Statements of Principles are available on the website of the Australian Government Repatriation Medical Authority www.rma.gov.au.
