Pursuant to Regulation 12 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing (Levies) Regulations 2012, and in accordance with Regulations 9 and 11 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing (Levies) Regulations 2012, I, Barry Harris, Chairperson of National Animal Identification and Tracing Limited, which is the designated NAIT organisation, give notice that commencing 1 July 2022, the slaughter and tag levy rates for cattle shall be:

1. slaughter levy – $1.49 per animal (ex GST); and
2. tag levy – $0.97 per NAIT device (ex GST).
