Pursuant to section 132 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.

Notice

  1. This notice is the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees Amendment) Notice 2022 by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board (“Board”).
  2. This notice comes into force on 1 July 2022.
  3. This notice amends the previous notice, the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Notice 2020 (New Zealand Gazette, 29 January 2020, Notice No. 2020-gs377), in relation to the fees for the application of an additional scope of practice.
  4. The Board sets the following amended fees, payable to the Board, specified in the Schedule below.
  5. Fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.
