New Zealand Pork: Election for One Director for Region 1
Under the provisions of clause 23 of the Pork Industry Board Regulations 1999, notice is hereby given of the forthcoming election for one producer representative Director in Region 1 on the New Zealand Pork Industry Board for the period until 31 July 2025.
New Zealand Pork is now calling for nominations.
Paul Bucknell has advised that he is willing to be re-nominated for a further term on the Board.
Registered producers wishing to make a nomination have up until 12pm (noon) on 29 April 2022 to submit their nomination.
To nominate and second a Director, a farmer must be registered for the region in which the election is taking place, however, the person being nominated does not need to reside in that region, nor do they need to be a farmer.
The roll for eligible voters will be available for inspection from 9 May 2022 until 17 May 2022 at the office of the New Zealand Pork Industry Board, Unit 2A / 9 Sir Gil Simpson Drive, Burnside, Christchurch.
The closing date for receipt of voting papers is 12pm (noon) on 27 May 2022 and the results will be sent out on 30 May 2022.
