Pursuant to schedule 7 clause 3 of the Public Service Act 2020, the Deputy Public Service Commissioner has appointed:

James Palmer

to the position of Secretary for the Environment and Chief Executive, Ministry for the Environment from 1 March 2023 to 29 February 2028, following acceptance by the Governor-General in Council of the Deputy Public Service Commissioner’s recommendation.
