Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Schedule 1 of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008 (“Act”), I have reappointed:

Paulette Joan Elliffe, of Dunedin

Shaun Christopher Barnett, of Wellington

Jennifer Anne Vernon, of Ngāruawāhia

Professor Merata Kawharu, of Dunedin

as members of the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa for a term of three years commencing on 24 February 2022.

The reappointment of Paulette Joan Elliffe is made on the nomination by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, pursuant to Schedule 1(2)(b) of the Act.

The appointment of Shaun Christopher Barnett is made on the nomination by the Federated Mountain Clubs of NZ Inc., pursuant to Schedule 1(2)(d) of the Act.

The reappointment of Jennifer Anne Vernon and Professor Merata Kawharu is made by the Minister for Land Information, pursuant to Schedule 1(2)(f) of the Act.
