Pursuant to Schedule 5, clause 1(2) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, and section 12(1) of the Commerce Act 1986, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Dame Cindy Kiro, gnzm, qso, Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed:

Dr John Philip Small, of Rai Valley, Nelson,

as Chairperson of the Commerce Commission for a term commencing on 5 December 2022 and ending on 7 June 2025.
