Pursuant to section 68 of the Education and Training Act 2020, and acting under the delegated authority of the Minister of Education, I hereby fix the following additional enrolment criteria for Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu.
This policy comes into effect on 31 October 2022.
Introduction
This document sets out the criteria for additional government-funded dual-tuition access at Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu in order to allow more students to enrol in the Summer School Gateway.

This gateway is to enable more short-term enrolments over the summer break between Terms 4 and 1. It is for students who need to earn additional credits or specific internal standards to complete an NCEA Level. Students may register for a maximum of 12 credits at any one time. This gateway is limited to 1000 students per year. In the 2022/23 summer only it has an increased limit of 1500 students. |
