Pursuant to section 23(3) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed the Marlborough District Council to have the control and management of the Rai Valley Cemetery, being 8094 square metres, more or less, being Section 37, Block I, Wakamarina Survey District, being as from the date of signing.
