Pursuant to section 170(5) of the Education and Training Act 2020 and acting with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the 7 September 2022 election the parent representative for the Kaitaia Abundant Life School (238) Board and require a new election to be held on Wednesday 2 November 2022.

I further declare that the board member who held office on the date of the invalid election return to office until the close of the day before the day on which the new board member takes office following the new election.

This notice takes effect the date of publication.
