Pursuant to section 236(1) of the Intelligence and Security Act 2017 (“Act”), the Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern, having consulted with the Intelligence and Security Committee under section 236(4) of the Act, amends the final reporting date in the notice titled “2022 Review of the Intelligence and Security Act” [New Zealand Gazette, 2 March 2022, Notice No. 2022-go693] accordingly:

  1. The current paragraph under the section titled “Deliverables” states:

A report with recommendations should be delivered to the Intelligence and Security Committee no later than 30 September 2022.

  1. This paragraph will be removed and replaced with:

A report with recommendations should be delivered to the Intelligence and Security Committee no later than 20 December 2022.
