Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods to be Amended for Clause H1
Pursuant to section 24(1) of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice of amendments to the following acceptable solutions and verification methods:
- H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS1; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS2; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Verification Method H1/VM1; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Verification Method H1/VM2.
The amended versions of the above acceptable solutions and verification methods are effective on 4 August 2022.
The preceding versions of the acceptable solutions and verification methods for H1 continue to be in force until:
- H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS1 Fourth Edition Amendment 4 –
2 November 2022; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Verification Method H1/VM1 Fourth Edition Amendment 4 – 2 November 2022; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS1 Fifth Edition (unamended) –
4 August 2022; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS2 First Edition (unamended) –
4 August 2022; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Verification Method H1/VM1 Fifth Edition (unamended) – 4 August 2022; and
- H1 Energy Efficiency Verification Method H1/VM2 First Edition (unamended) –
4 August 2022.
Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods to be Revoked for Clauses B1, E2, and G7
Pursuant to section 24(1) of the Act, I give notice that the following versions of these acceptable solutions and verification methods will be revoked on 2 November 2022:
- B1 Structure Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods First Edition Amendment 19; and
- E2 External Moisture Verification Method E2/VM2 First Edition (unamended); and
- G7 Natural Light Acceptable Solution G7/AS1 First Edition Amendment 2; and
- G7 Natural Light Verification Method G7/VM1 First Edition Amendment 2.
