Pursuant to clauses 16A and 59 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021 (“Order”), I, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health, hereby specify the following to be specified symptoms for the purposes of clause 16A of the Order:

1. new or worsening cough;
2. new or worsening sore throat;
3. new or worsening fever;
4. new or worsening shortness of breath;
5. new or worsening loss of smell or altered sense of taste.

The notice “COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021 Specified Symptoms” made on 25 February 2022 (New Zealand Gazette, 25 February 2022, Notice No. 2022-go675) is revoked.

This notice will come into effect at 11.59pm on 20 June 2022.
