Specification of Information Requirements Carriers Must Provide to New Zealand Customs Prior to Arrival in New Zealand Under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021

Pursuant to clauses 54(3)(b) and 59 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021, I, Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health, declare that for the purposes of clause 54(3)(b) of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Air Border) Order 2021, all carriers arriving via the air border must provide the following details about each person on board: —

  1. passport or official travel document number:
  2. citizenship, as identified in the passport or official travel document:
  3. surname:
  4. given names:
  5. date of birth:
  6. sex, as identified in the passport or official travel document:
  7. port of arrival:
  8. date of arrival:
  9. estimated time of arrival.

This notice comes into effect at 11.59pm on 20 June 2022.
