In accordance with section 220 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, I, Phil Parkes, give notice that I have exempted Hiringa Energy Limited from compliance with the requirement in regulation 16.30(2) of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 to comply with Chapter 6.7 of the UN Model Regulations in relation to the multiple element gas containers (MEGCs) that are to be used as transportable containers.

This exemption takes effect on 18 March 2022 and expires on 18 March 2027 unless it is replaced sooner or revoked.
