Pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act 1989, a new Code of Broadcasting Standards in New Zealand has been issued (replacing the Radio, Free-to-Air Television and Pay Television Codes of Broadcasting Practice).

The new code will take effect from 1 July 2022.

Copies of the code can be downloaded from www.bsa.govt.nz and will be made available free from the Broadcasting Standards Authority, PO Box 9213, Wellington 6141.
